Really pretty park. Civic leaders and the county are doing what they can considering the lake is a super fund and unfit for basically anything. Nice dog park at one end, paved trails clearly marked. NOTE: PDF and map at facility do not face North, orientation is basically upside down. Drop a pin on your map and use GPS. Parking was easy.
I have a paddle boat on the lake that I went out o. First thing this morning. Best way to enjoy the park is when the first sign of morning appears and everything is quiet.
Beautiful lake walking and bike riding/skating trails. Nice seating areas. Wegmans Landing has equipment rentals, skate park, play ground, bocci ball area, shuffle board,.seating areas and ball fields. Very nice lake views and sunsets.
Most of it is flooded, but cool place to go. Love it here, great for cycling, running, roller blading and just all forms of activity. The path on the southern sideb is exceptionally smooth and less crowded (though groups are more prone to try and take up the full path back there which is more dangerous with cyclists back there.)
