Excellent assortment of products and helpful staff. Great prices during weekly sales. Good app when working. Seems to have significant problems every month.
Took them months to restore the Android Price Chopper app but it's finally back. Very friendly staff at this store. Great specials but too often they are out of advertised specials. However, they gladly provide rain checks. Overall less expensive than either Wegmans or Tops and my favorite grocery store to shop.
I shop here for groceries. They have good prices and selections. The best part is the discount I get on gas.
After experiencing a RECURRING issue, with no signs of improvement, I am compelled to switch back to shopping elsewhere. On average, about half the # of times I shop at Price Chopper, items do not ring up at the correct sale price. When I inquired at the service desk as to why computerized scanning is not capturing correct info, the gal informed me it was not her job to know that - her job is to correct it. My latest episode just this week was the deciding factor for me. I purchased 13x9, 8x8 and 15x10 Good Cook baking pans selected from the produce section - all on sale. Two of the pans rang up correctly. The 13x9 pan did not. I told the cashier I would go back to where I got it to check the price, took a picture of the sign showing the $4 less sale price and returned to the register for her to adjust. She called someone else to the register. He left to go check the price himself - even tho I had a picture of the sign. He checked the price in the aisle where cookware is stocked and not in the produce section where pans were also on display and said the pan was not on sale. Until he realized we each found items in different locations. His explanation was these must be OLD sale signs; however I checked the price of these pans last week and they were not on sale. With all the technology available, recurring incorrect pricing should not be an issue for consumers. I don't feel compelled to check my receipt each time I leave Wegmans but I always check my receipt before leaving Price Chopper. Very disappointed in the issue as well as the response to the issue. It's not something that is important enough to store employees to report to management and get corrected.
A great, large and clean Price Chopper. Great deals in the sale section and always well stocked shelves in every other department. They also have coupon offers you can load to your smartphone. Checkout is usually very quick and accurate. Staff is always friendly and courteous. Aisles are well lighted but can be a bit cramped if two or more carts trying to pass lol. All in all a great chain of stores and this is no exception. Seafood department , produce, and deli all great.
